They assist in the process of protecting their customer’s organisations from security threats and specialise in a number of ‘key’ security areas of client, server and gateway security solutions – they help their clients deal with the complexities involved in evaluating, purchasing, implementing, maintaining and upgrading security solutions.

About the role

They are now seeking a junior sales executive. This role involves managing a portfolio of existing accounts, sourcing of new clients and progression of opportunities through the whole sales cycle.

You will be expected to:
• Hit and exceed your monthly targets.
• Generate new business within new or existing accounts.
• Negotiate prices and deals with customers and vendors to ensure max margin.
• Produce quotations and proposals with assistance from the sales support team.
• Sell technical services/consultancy as well as products from external vendors.
• Maintain customer and supplier relationships.
• Present to clients as and when necessary.
• Attend regular product and sales training.

Skills/background:

You will be a recent graduate.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Have drive & ambition.
• Thrive on closing that sale!
• Be comfortable holding business level conversations with decision makers.
• Be methodical in your approach and possess a keen eye for detail.
• Have a personable and friendly nature.
• Have a fantastic telephone voice and be a good listener.
• Be interested in learning about IT security solutions and how to sell them.
